ABORTION IS MURDER IN EVERY CASE

Prof. Paolo Bellavite gave an interview exclusively for “Science Without Censorship”

Marek Skowroński: Professor, left-wing and pro-abortion propaganda claims that “there is no such thing as an unborn child—there is only a cluster of cells.” What’s worse, such views are even espoused by a significant number of doctors—including in Poland. What, then, is a human fetus—a human being, or a cluster of cells?

Prof. Paolo Bellavite: Any minimally rational and educated person can understand that the cellular and humanistic levels are being confused, inappropriately and inconsistently. If we consider only the cellular aspect, we perform a reductive operation that is worthless even on a scientific level. A human being is made of cells, but each cell is made of millions of different molecules, and each molecule of atoms and physical forces. On the other hand, cells form tissues, which are not just „clusters” of cells but complex and organized systems, functional to life, and so on until they constitute a complete organism. This pattern repeats itself at all ages, from the earliest stages of intrauterine development. So the question to ask is not whether that organism is or is not a „cluster of cells,” but whether it is a developing human being or a developing animal. If it is an animal, any ethical issues, in my opinion, fade into the background. But any minimally rational and educated person must be completely consistent.

 – Professor, in 2022–2023, at a time when Poland was governed by a coalition that described itself as Catholic and patriotic, the then-Minister of Health introduced the psychiatric grounds as a legal basis for performing an abortion. As a result, this means that for several years now, even children in the ninth month of pregnancy have been murdered. How do you assess the psychiatric grounds for abortion, both as a doctor and as a devout Catholic?

– This is one of the usual tricks used by abortionists, who exploit “merciful cases” to increase the possibility of abortion. While I understand the seriousness of the problem, it can be solved, if desired, by placing the child in the care of couples willing to help. As a doctor and a Catholic, I can only reiterate that abortion is murder, in any case. 

– Professor, what is the situation like in Italy?

– In Italy there is a law on “Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy” (IVG, Law 194 of 1978). During the first 90 days of pregnancy, termination of pregnancy is permitted for a woman who alleges circumstances in which the continuation of the pregnancy, childbirth, or motherhood would pose a serious risk to her physical or mental health, in relation to her state of health, her economic, social, or family circumstances, the circumstances surrounding conception, or the possibility of anomalies or malformations in the fetus. Therefore, in practice, abortion is always possible. The father of the fetus cannot interfere in any way in the termination of pregnancy and does not have any rights over the fetus. This contradicts the principles set forth in the law (Article 1): „The State guarantees the right to conscious and responsible procreation, recognizes the social value of motherhood, and protects human life from its beginning. The voluntary termination of pregnancy, as provided for in this law, is not a means of birth control.” Termination of pregnancy is permitted by law even after the first ninety days of pregnancy when the pregnancy or childbirth poses a serious risk to the woman’s life or when pathological processes are identified, including those related to significant anomalies or malformations of the unborn child, which pose a serious risk to the woman’s physical or mental health. Therefore, strictly speaking, so-called “therapeutic” abortion (performed to eliminate a child with health problems) would not be permitted. The law allows doctors and health care workers to refuse to perform abortions for reasons of conscience.

– Last year, it was revealed at a Polish hospital that a doctor working there performed an abortion on a nearly nine-month-old unborn child, preceded by an injection of potassium chloride into the heart. Such “procedures” do not fall under standard protocols, yet they are performed in Poland. Even by one professor. For me, as a Pole, the association is obvious—with Josef Mengele.

– I agree with this analogy. On the other hand, it’s obvious that if the human being is ideologically reduced to a “nuisance” or even to a “cluster of cells”, any aberration becomes possible. Often, those who advocate for abortion fail to realize that it is just one of the many forms of discrimination committed against the weakest and most powerless human beings. It can happen that the same people who accept abortion do not accept racial persecution or genocide perpetrated for political or military domination. Therefore, in answer to the first question, I emphasized the need for an honest and rational person to be completely consistent, accepting the ultimate consequences of their positions.

– I wonder if someone who kills unborn children or assists in euthanasia can still be called a doctor or a nurse.

– Since the earliest days of medicine, as evidenced by the Hippocratic Oath, it has always been believed that doctors and nurses assist and cure the sick, not eliminate them.

– On June 4, 1997, in Kalisz, John Paul II, the Polish pope, said: “A nation that kills its own children is a nation without a future.” Meanwhile, globalists and the left keep telling us that there are too many of us. Is this already an anti-civilization with an anti-culture of death?

– I loved John Paul II very much, and once even had the opportunity to shake his hand. I also loved the Poland of those times, and in 1980 I took part in the pilgrimage from Warsaw to Częstochowa. In Italy, I supported the Solidarność movement. Those were good times, which today, unfortunately, seem so far away. Globalists invented the theory of overpopulation to continue their world domination and exploit resources at their whim. Abortion and euthanasia are two sides of the same coin, represented by a civilization that has subjected the interests of the individual human being to the „rules” of the market. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted how the economic interests of pharmaceutical companies, supported by left-wing governments, produced the virus using „gain-of-function” techniques for military purposes and to produce and sell vaccines, as well as to once again dominate the population with increasingly restrictive rules on personal freedoms. It was all conceived by the Davos elites, who talk about overpopulation and organize abortion campaigns, in which even the WHO is actively involved.

In recent days, Poland has been shaken by horrifying news. As reported, among others, by the newspaper Rzeczpospolita, in the locality of Lutoryż near Rzeszów, medical waste, including the remains of human fetuses, was uncovered during earthworks carried out on a plot of land. As established by the police, they were allegedly buried during the time when Magdalena H. still lived in Lutoryż. Investigations are still ongoing to determine how long the buried fetuses had been on the property. Apart from the remains, considerable quantities of medical waste were also found, mainly paraffin blocks and microscope slides.

So far, there is no evidence that the doctor performed illegal abortions; however, from day to day, more and more information is reaching the public, including information from unofficial channels. It is known, for example, that Magdalena H. allegedly conducted a private medical practice in her home. Within several dozen hours, the number of discovered fetal remains has increased, and from 32, there is now talk of even around one hundred.

Magdalena H., arrested on the basis of a decision of the District Court in Rzeszów, explained the presence of the remains of human fetuses buried in the garden by stating that during the COVID-19 pandemic she took the bodies of dead children from the hospital where she worked to her home, where she conducted examinations on them. It is, however, puzzling how it was possible to remove children’s bodies from the hospital, including the removal of medical documentation, which was reportedly also found among the buried children’s remains. It is inconceivable that such a practice could have been carried out by her alone. Additionally, we learn that the pathomorphologist doctor is reportedly a well-known figure in LGBT+ circles and in pro-abortion circles.

The prosecutor’s office conducting the proceedings will have a very hard nut to crack. Hospital records, medical documentation, the entire system in which medical procedures are recorded, as well as death registers, records of the release of the bodies of deceased children, abortions, and protocols concerning the destruction (disposal) of aborted fetuses will have to be examined. It will also be necessary to conduct DNA testing of the discovered children’s bodies.

In the event that inconsistencies are found in the hospital documentation, it will be necessary to determine the persons who may have participated in the practice, as well as, above all, the motives themselves, or whether we may be dealing with some kind of rituals, because in such cases even such a possibility must not be ruled out.

Regardless of the further course of the investigation and the determination of the entire sequence of events, as well as the scale of this horrifying discovery, one must ask whether the Polish system of health and life protection is efficient and whether it is capable of effectively protecting the weakest. The psychiatric ground for carrying out an abortion, that is, depriving an innocent human person of life, introduced during the rule of Law and Justice, that is, a party referring to Christian and patriotic values, by the then Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski, as well as the case of Dr. Gizela Jagielska performing abortions even on children in the ninth month of pregnancy, that is, on fetuses possessing full ability to live independently outside the mother’s body, are precisely clear examples that in Poland, despite the provisions of the Constitution guaranteeing the protection of life from conception to natural death and despite several rulings already issued by the Constitutional Tribunal on the inadmissibility of abortion for eugenic reasons, it is possible to murder unborn children with impunity. At a time when our country has a negative birth rate, every new human life of Polish children is worth its weight in gold. Whoever denies this is an ignoramus.
